About the role

Description

We are seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Manager with a proven track record in both sales and sales leadership to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the members of the inside sales team, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets, while strategically contributing to business growth. This role requires a strong sales background, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to balance tactical execution with strategic planning to drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire the inside sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Performance Management: Define, track, and analyze key sales performance metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to enhance team skills and capabilities.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the management of lead generation, qualification, and conversion pipelines to ensure consistent revenue growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with broader business strategies.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine sales processes, tools, and technology to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to guide sales strategy and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Typically, between 4-6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree.
  • Innovative and passionate about asset management and financial markets.
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, ideally within the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive both tactical execution and strategic planning in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Strong track record of motivating teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability of succeeding in a sales role.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and data analysis to track and manage sales performance.
  • Knowledge of asset management products and financial markets is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
