##Job Overview

If you’re a Red Seal Electrician who loves solving problems, thrives in hands‑on environments, and wants to take your skills into the underground mining world, this role opens the door to some of the most exciting technical work in the industry. You’ll work with underground mining equipment and apply both electrical and mechanical expertise to keep critical mining systems running safely and reliably. It’s a chance to grow your career, expand your technical range, and be part of a team that tackles real‑world challenges every day.

**Reports to:**District Manager

**Shift:**5x2- Monday to Friday 8h/day

**Safety Sensitive:**Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required

**Travel:**up to 50% travel within Canada and the USA

**Relocation:**This position does not offer relocation

##Key Job Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and code specifications
  • Install, maintain, test, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems
  • Diagnose and repair motors, generators, alternators, batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical controls
  • Apply electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain accurate service records
  • Ensure quality standards are met and work is completed safely and efficiently

##Qualifications/Requirements

  • Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician required; dual‑ticket an asset
  • 1–3 years of related industrial or heavy equipment experience
  • Working knowledge of PLC controls, wiring, and electrical theory
  • Ability to troubleshoot, make sound decisions, and work effectively under pressure
  • Physically able to safely lift 50 lbs
  • Able to access mine sites without restrictions
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and ability to travel up to 50% depending on customer needs
