Daily Responsibilities :

Conduct daily checks, resolve issues that are assigned to the team on a priority basis, work on project work that is assigned to the team.

• Provide day-to-day support for the Job Scheduler Platform (Active Batch), including defining, scheduling, and monitoring tasks to ensure efficient execution.
• Perform server administration and support, working with technologies such as Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, VMware, NetApp, and CISCO.
• Respond promptly to system failures, ensuring timely resolution and stability.
• Upgrade and enhance hardware and software to maintain infrastructure performance.
• Maintain and update IT documentation.
• Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to review and recommend technical solutions.
• Interface professionally with internal stakeholders, providing calm and courteous support.

Must have Skills:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, 5-9 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong systematic troubleshooting, problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Good planning, time management, and documentation skills.
• Easily adapts to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication with team members, internal and external clients.
• Works well individually and within a team.

• Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols and standards.

• Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Job Scheduling Platforms (Active Batch preferred).
• Strong expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Basic understanding of VMware, storage systems, and networking.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong incident response skills, with the ability to escalate and coordinate resolution effectively.

Nice to have Skills:

• A degree in information technology or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
• Key areas of expertise should include Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, Web server technologies (IIS, Apache, Tomcat).
• Intermediate understanding of Server Virtualization and Storage Solutions.
• Active Batch Certification.
• Windows Certification.
• Prior experience in VMWare, Veeam, CISCO, and/or NetApp systems
