DLL Canada invites you to share in our success by joining our Human Resources department. We are hiring a co-op student to work as an HR, Co-op for the fall term.
Day to day
HR Administration
- Prepare and maintain electronic employee files
- Assist with transactions in HR Information System
- Prepare and maintain HR reports as needed
- Process benefits documentation, including new hire enrollments and member changes
- Support with administration of Reward and Recognition system (Kudos)
- Provide support with new hire onboarding and new hire orientation
- Manage Sustainability benefit program
HR Projects
- Support legislative documentation updates
- Refresh, plan, and execute Getting to Know DLL Session
- Develop and distribute HR related communications as needed
- Assist in the execution of the Co-op Learning and Development Program
- Support in planning and implementing community involvement and company events
- Provide support with policy updates as needed
- Updating member facing SharePoint site
- Additional projects and ADHOC tasks as needed

Essentials
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a service facing role
- Exposure to an HR environment through prior internship experience or education is required
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to establish rapport quickly and gain the respect and trust of others
- Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Strong attention to detail, organized and efficient
- Self-Motivated: ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Highly flexible and adaptable, able to react quickly and effectively to urgent requests and changing priorities
- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Proficient computer skills MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work from home remotely/independently, in a virtual team environment and in-person/in-office (approx. 1-2x per week)
