Bird's Moving & Storage, located in St. Catharines, Ontario is seeking a dedicated and reliable Mover Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with moving and transporting goods, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our clients. Professional moving experience is required. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to lift heavy items. As a Mover Helper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality service.

Bird's, an agent for United Van Lines, was founded in 1933. We have been successfully looking after the moving and storage needs of the people of the Niagara area for over 93 years.

Responsibilities:

• work with a crew of helpers and drivers on day to day basis
• safely loading and unloading furniture from residential homes
• properly padding and protecting customers belongings
• Flexibility of both work schedule and work duties. We encounter a lot of different scenarios in this industry and being able to mold ourselves to these duties is a must

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the day.
• Punctuality is a must
• Must have a reliable way into work for shift
• Must be able to work well with customers and other crew members
• Must be able to follow instructions from the driver/van supervisor
