About the role

Job Specific Accountabilities (What the position does)

-Documentation Management: Rejecting reports or documents that contain incorrect or missing information. -Tracking and Logging: Responsible for the tracking and logging of various project documentation. -Data Entry: Performing data entry tasks using Google Sheets and the Acorn drafting program. -Communication: Handling internal communication within the QA/QC team. -Quality Methods: Adopting and incorporating specific quality methods into daily work. -Inventory Support: Assisting the Parts and Materials Controller with receiving paperwork. -Organization: Organizing and filing shop drawings and reports. -Organizational Awareness: Understanding Alstar Group of Companies' strategic plan, organizational structure, and acting as an advocate for the organization.

Job Specific Requirements (Skills and abilities required)

-Attention to Detail: Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to review numerous types of documentation for missing information, discrepancies, or errors. -Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. -Work Style: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, often with minimal supervision. -Adaptability: Flexible to learn new tasks or adapt to different client expectations. -Problem Solving: Strong skills in identifying and resolving problems. -Self-Motivation: Must be highly motivated and self-directed. -Technical Assets: Experience with piping or structural QA documentation, Google G-Suite, Acorn piping software, and Bluebeam is considered an asset. -Education: Minimum requirement of a high school diploma; however, additional training will be provided. -Behavioral Expectations: Candidates should demonstrate a strategic focus, drive for results, integrity, and accountability.
