Your role What You'll Be Doing Job Description Summary As an Associate Product Designer at PayByPhone, you are a core member of a team responsible for creating convenient and enjoyable experiences for millions of PayByPhone users across the globe. You will focus on the consumer experience and bring your design skills in interaction design and user interface design to drive continuous improvement of our products.
You empathize with the user and ground your design decisions based on evidence, all while embracing collaboration and feedback. You are comfortable working alongside agile teams, and collaborating with other members of the design team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create solutions that will drive usability of our consumer experience.

Job Description
- Design and prototype user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications
- Deliver detailed design flows for developers to build from.
- Conduct user research studies, including user interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
- Perform post product analytics analysis and design A/B tests.
- Use and contribute to a mature yet evolving design system
- Analyze user data and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes using Figma.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and gather feedback.
- Stay up to date on the latest design trends and technologies.
- Work effectively within a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Accept and incorporate constructive criticism to improve design solutions.
Additional Job Description
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
- Strong proficiency in Figma with a demonstrated understanding of design systems, component creation, responsive designs, and building detailed prototypes.
- Experience conducting UX research studies, including user interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
- Experience using SurveyMonkey or similar survey tools.
- Understanding of how to leverage analytics to inform design decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable you to build common goals with stakeholders or collaborators
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to accept and incorporate constructive criticism to improve design solutions.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and a user-centered approach.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
Salary range: $73,000 - $92,000
