Reports to: The Investment Manager in the Treasurer’s Department
Location: Montréal
Status of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Between $55,000 and $60,000 annually

Responsibilities
-
Prepare and process loan deposits and requests for withdrawals in accordance with internal procedures.

Record and maintain accurate investment-related journal entries.

Verify, monitor, and maintain records of investment holdings and transactions.

Assist in the preparation and calculation of investment portfolio returns.

Update and maintain records for dividends, interest income, market values, and supporting investment documentation.

Monitor loan repayments to ensure calculations are accurate and payments are received on time.

Assist with the preparation, assembly, and distribution of materials for Investment Review Committee meetings.

Maintain organized and up-to-date investment files and documentation.

Be available to travel, as requested.

Perform other related duties within the scope of the position or as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications
- AEC or DEP in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of relevant accounting or financial administration experience.
- Experience with Sage 300 or similar accounting software is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability and willingness to learn additional systems and applications.
- Knowledge of, or interest in, investments and portfolio accounting is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) is required; Inuktitut and French is considered an asset.
- Security clearance is required.
