The Engagement Processing function is a vital part of the firm’s Business Enablement Services and is focused on achieving client service excellence by delivering timely, high-quality products, and encouraging an environment that increases both the staff and client experience.
KPMG is looking for an Engagement Processor to join us for a 12-month period. This individual will be responsible for tax return processing and filing for external clients in a variety of industries with varied procedures, ensuring that all submissions received are prepared with accuracy and timeliness, and responsible for the document management and finalization of client tax deliverables.
What you will do:
- Working independently and within a team environment to support our client service staff to produce high quality client deliverables.
- Process and file various tax returns for GTA Tax practices.
- Ensure accuracy in performing all assigned tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Review to ensure all relevant information, documentation and sign off provided before filing.
- Promote and maintain a high level of document accuracy, consistency, and adherence to Firm standards of presentation, while meeting deadlines.
- Assemble tax returns for delivery to internal staff and clients and send them electronically using various Tax software.
- Maintain up-to-date filing system for deliverables.
- Initiate lock-down of client information process.
- Collaborate with client service staff and team members to enhance and resolve tax return matters.
- Participate in training to stay current with KPMG specific technical software.
- Identify and communicate delivery issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Handle multiple priorities in an efficient and effective manner in response to a high-pressure deadline driven environment.
At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.
This is a remote position with the ability to work at a KPMG office.
What you bring to this role:
- Strong processing skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Acrobat.
- Excellent data entry skills and high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize requests and workload.
- Strong written and oral communication to ensure communication with internal stakeholders.
- Service and detail oriented, capable of working independently and takes pride in completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
- College diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience in data processing, business and/or administration.
