The Position
Keyera is currently seeking a Control Room Operator to join our Liquids Infrastructure Operations team, based out of our Regional Office in Sherwood Park, Alberta. The shift will rotate between days and nights
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our terminal and pipeline assets. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical understanding, situational awareness, and sound decision-making in managing complex operational systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily operating assignments on terminal equipment and processes.
- Operate terminal systems safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers, project engineering, and business development teams for ongoing and future projects.
- Mentor and coach terminal and pipeline operators, supporting development in alignment with site progression plans.
- Actively participate in Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives across the Operations group.
- Support the review, development, and continuous improvement of site procedures and operational processes.
Qualifications
- Previous operational experience in a terminal control center and pipeline facility setting.
- Experience operating PHMSA-regulated terminals and pipeline facilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Supervisory or leadership experience in field operations is an asset.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Highly organized, reliable, and attentive to detail, with a strong commitment to teamwork and safety.
