The OUAC is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Application Systems department. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to both project-based and operational work within a collaborative team environment, while working under the direction of the Quality Assurance Team Lead.

Job Responsibilities:
- Create clear, concise, detail-oriented test cases/scripts with systematic Software Quality Assurance methodology.
- Execute test scripts and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing and correction.
- Provide support to analyze, debug and report software defects found by functional users.
- Provide clear, detailed issue reports to the development team to expedite issue remediation.
Qualifications Sought:
- At least 2 years of postsecondary education at either university or college with a major in computer science, Software Quality Assurance or related STEM field.
- Experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Experience in quality management software and processes.
Abilities/Skills for the Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
- High level of initiative with ability to self-manage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Attention to detail, and positive attitude under stress.
- Willing to learn and explore new technologies.
- Self-motivated and a good team player.
- Disciplined, organized and reliable.
- Creative and quality driven.
Qualifications Considered an Asset:
- Certification in Quality Assurance.
- Experience testing Oracle/PeopleSoft-based applications.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with software testing processes and testing methodologies.
- Skilled in using automated testing tools and bug tracking systems.
- Experience working in Agile Environment.
- Experience using artificial intelligence to enhance Quality Assurance goals.
- Experience testing websites for AODA compliance.
Hours of Work:
- Monday through Friday, 32 hours work week (approximately 4.5 days)
- Hybrid remote work arrangements may be available after the probationary period.
