About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with proficiency in tools such as Bluebeam and Accubid. This role is critical in ensuring accurate pricing and effective negotiation for various construction projects, contributing to our overall success and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead. Utilize Bluebeam and HeavyBid software to analyze project specifications and drawings. Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines. Conduct thorough market research to determine pricing trends and material costs. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing. Review bid proposals and ensure compliance with project specifications. Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial forecasts. Maintain organized documentation of estimates, bids, and contracts for future reference.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field. Proficiency in Bluebeam and Accubid/Trimble software is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and clients. Excellent project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
