This is a great opportunity for someone looking to apply systems-level programming skills to real-world problems in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the development for projects on the Device Team
  • Help implement features that improve device performance, monitoring, remote configuration, and update management
  • Assist in debugging and resolving issues related to connectivity, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborate with software developers, QA, and DevOps to ensure smooth deployments and updates
  • Participate in code reviews, team standups, and sprint planning to learn agile development practices

  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms)
  • Experience with one or more of: Rust, JavaScript, Python, Java, C, C++, or similar languages
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs)
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Interest in low-level systems programming and networking fundamentals

Nice-to-Have:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with IoT or embedded development
  • Familiarity with version control (Git)
  • Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, Django, or .NET

Security Requirements

  • Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
  • Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.
