Location:

Shifts: 12-hour Continental shift (7 to 7), rotating every 2 weeks (days/nights).

Print machine Operators or Printer Techniciansas we call them, ensure a safe work environment and operate our high-speed printing equipment along with supporting tasks for processing finished products (i.e. cups).

What will you do?

Ensure all work is conducted in a safe manner

  • Know where all emergency stops are located.
  • Maintain tight control of all materials and keep all forms of waste to a minimum.
  • Conduct all necessary equipment, process, quality and sanitation checks per established procedures.
  • Monitor process and product quality to ensure products are produced within control parameters.
  • Watch for mixed product, correct labelling, and correct stacking of finished product on skids.
  • Trouble-shoot and make adjustments as needed to maintain the highest quality yield at all times; inform Supervisor of any product defects.
  • Complete all check sheets or data entry in the computer.
  • Perform and complete changeovers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the work area is kept clean, orderly and safe; return inks, plates and folders to the correct locations.
  • Conduct basic preventative maintenance as per established schedules, procedures and practices.
  • Must be able to work 8 or 12 hour shifts (days, afternoon, nights) as business requires.

  • Willingness to learn with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with good basic mechanical skills
  • Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and planning skills
  • Basic computer and math skills, with the ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to work with solvents and in environments with extreme heat, humidity, and high noise levels while wearing required PPE.
  • Physically able to lift 35–40 lbs regularly, stand for extended periods, and work 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts (days, afternoons, or nights) as business requires.
  • Ability to clearly distinguish between colours and shades of colour and lead or train others as required.
