Working under the Inside Sales Manager - Business Solutions, the incumbent will be responsible for, among other things, bidding on Ventilation projects assigned to him or her. In addition, he or she will provide support to customers and other team members.

What you will accomplish with us:

  • Analyze plans and specifications.
  • Make the list of products to be bid on in the plans.
  • Choose products from manufacturers’ pricing software.
  • Ensure that the products bid on meet the requirements in plans and specifications, and involve the engineer’s representative to obtain approval when presenting equipment equivalencies.
  • Put together bids to send to contractors.
  • Actively participate in meetings to establish closure strategies for key projects.
  • Monitor the project through closure, which includes checking for addenda and checking the closure date and time.
  • Provide technical support to clients and the team.
  • Support all team stakeholders involved in the bid project, including the project manager, outside representative, supervisor, and other contributors.

What You Bring to Our Team:

  • 2–5 years of experience in the HVAC or building services industry, with flexibility depending on your background and expertise.

  • Education in building services, such as a DCS in building systems or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, building engineering, or construction.

  • Hands‑on experience in the HVAC‑R field, particularly in ventilation systems, is a strong asset.

  • Proficiency with MS Office tools.

  • Experience working with building mechanical systems.

  • Strong sales abilities and a genuine sense of customer service.

  • Ability to build trust and maintain lasting relationships with clients.

  • Autonomy and thoroughness in managing your priorities.

  • Excellent organizational skills, initiative, and resourcefulness.

  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues across various departments and levels.

  • Ability to stay calm and efficient in fast‑paced situations.

  • Sound judgment, timely decision‑making, and strong prioritization skills.

  • Clear and professional communication with all levels of the organization.

  • A structured, effective approach when interacting with customers.

  • Tact, diplomacy, and respectfulness in every interaction.

Compensation

Base Salary Range of $65,000 - $85,000 + Bonus, based on experience
