CareRx is in an exciting growth phase and is seeking to hire a Pharmacist (Korean Speaking) to join our great Specialty Pharmacy team. The role will be based at one of the Seniors Care Home we service in Surrey, BC. This is a part-time opportunity and prior experience in specialty pharmacy is an advantage, but not required. Under the general direction of the Designated Pharmacy Manager, this unique front line pharmacist position will participate in off-site medication administration and clinical activities in partnership with home partners.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Front line pharmaceutical care at a seniors congregate living setting , in collaboration with home partners.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions dispensed and consumed where applicable
  • Liaison between the facility and the operations pharmacy to support seamless and continuous care.
  • Providing professional functions related to dispensing including pharmaceutical care, patient counselling, medication reviews, MACs prescribing, liaising with other healthcare professionals and documenting interventions and dialogue
  • A medication management consultant for home partners with a focus on treatment centre regulations , supportive living environments and processes.

What You Will Bring to The Team:

  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Pharmacists, expected to adhere to the Standards of Practice with the British Columbia College of Pharmacists

  • Minimum 1 year Pharmacist experience

  • Experience in a specialty pharmacy is preferred

  • Experience with Kroll an asset

  • Ability to speak the Korean language is required

Compensation Range: $50-55/hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience.

Location: This is an on-site role located in Surrey
