The Charity Development Partner plays a key role in helping establish and grow Laura Canada’s future charitable foundation, while also supporting internal culture and engagement initiatives. This role combines strategic coordination, fundraising research, partnership development, and event planning. The ideal candidate is resourceful, community-minded, and passionate about creating positive impact—both within our organization and in the communities we serve.
How you will support the team: Charity Development & Fundraising
- Support the planning and implementation of the charity’s programs and fundraising initiatives.
- Research and identify grant, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities.
- Prepare compelling grant applications and donor proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, donors, and sponsors.
- Coordinate logistics and communications for fundraising campaigns and events.
- Track and report on donations, grants, and impact metrics.
Culture & Engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute internal culture and engagement events (e.g., appreciation initiatives, seasonal celebrations, employee volunteer days).
- Support the development of programs that foster connection, inclusion, and pride across the organization.
- Contribute creative ideas to strengthen employee engagement and align activities with Laura Canada’s mission and values.
- Assist with communications and storytelling related to culture and charitable initiatives.
The people who thrive with us have:
- 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, event planning, community engagement, and employee experience
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Passion for both community impact and workplace culture.
