Position Description TTI Canada is looking for a Manager of Product Service and Operations Training. This role will be focused on the Milwaukee Business. Leveraging their strong background in Adult Learning, they will be responsible for assessing needs, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive programs that enhance the onboarding experience, develop the team from a technical standpoint for quality repairs, and support other ongoing learning needs of our product service and operations teams. The ideal candidate has had exposure to power tools and is experienced in creating robust training experiences in the areas of process, systems, safety, and soft skills training.
What You Will Do
- Work with key business stakeholders and the Director of Learning to develop the training roadmap for product service and operations roles.
- Design and develop role-based curricula and training programs for onboarding, and ongoing needs around process, systems, safety, tool repair, technical, and soft skills.
- Establish relationships within the organization to ensure training programs are relevant and impactful, and aligned with business priorities.
- Closely manage training projects to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Deliver training for operations staff on process, systems, safety, and soft skills in various formats, including but not limited to classroom, virtual, and eLearning.
- Oversee the delivery, scheduling, and tracking of all programs, ensuring timely and efficient completion across the service department.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Report on training activities and outcomes to key business stakeholders and the Director of Learning.
- Continuously update programs to reflect new processes, systems, and evolving expectations.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to the Product Service and Operations team to ensure the application of training on the job.
While TTI Canada believes in and offers flexibility, this role is an in-office position based out of our Toronto Head Office, which is the center of TTI’s culture. As a key driver of TTI’s culture you need to be where the action is!
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field and/or Adult Education Certification, and/or minimum of 5 years of experience in a training manager role, with experience as an instructional designer and trainer
- Experience in the power tools industry is an asset but not required.
- Experienced in learning needs analysis, and comfortable leading end to end learning projects.
- Experienced in delivering multi-modal learning solutions to meet specific needs.
- Experienced with eLearning development tools, virtual training platforms, and Learning Management Systems.
- Experienced in classroom (in person and virtual) facilitation.
- Experienced in learning evaluation, measurement, and reporting.
- Ability to build and leverage relationships within the organization.
- Strong communicator with excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills.
