Overview:
We are looking for anEXTRAORDINARY LEADER. The Operations Manager reports to the Director of Operations and is accountable for leading the Nursing Management team in the region. This person will provide professional knowledge and support to the team in the daily operations of client services, case management, human resources and claims management in accordance with CarePartners’ mission statement, established policies and procedures, relevant legislation, government guidelines, the Collective Agreement, ESA, Ontario 2000 and local contract requirements.
We have an opening available for a dynamic leader to join our team in the position ofOperations Manager, North Eastfor the counties/areas ofNorth East.
This position is based in ourNorth Bayoffice and may include travel throughout theNorth Eastregion.

- This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with salary progression based on hours worked and role-specific criteria.**The salary range is $86,892.00 to $107,757.00,**and placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.

What The Role Involves:
- Oversee daily operations for the North East branch, ensuring timely, coordinated, and high-quality care delivery across the designated geographical area.
- Work closely with the Regional Director, Personal Support Managers (PSMs), Nurse Manager (NMs), Therapy Manager, Clinical Practice Leads (CPLs), and Scheduling Supervisors to plan, execute, and monitor the branch’s operational plan, consistent with the organization’s strategic priorities.
- Monitor operational performance indicators, as outlined by funder requirements and organizational priorities, and implement improvements where needed.
- Collaborate with Shared Services departments including Learning & Development, Care Excellence, and Quality, to ensure care is aligned with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Assist with operational budgeting, resource planning, and cost-containment initiatives that take a value-based approach.
- Monitor utilization and optimization of supplies, equipment, and sub-contracted services; holds sub-contractor(s) accountable for day-to-day performance of care delivery.
- Support financial processes such as billing accuracy, productivity tracking, and reporting.
- Monitors and ensure compliance with all contractual/funder reporting expectations are consistently met and takes correction actions as necessary to fulfill our reporting obligations.
- Works in collaboration with the CarePartners Facilities team and other Shared Services team members when reviewing and maintaining oversite of CarePartners offices and/or clinic locations.
- Encourages a team approach, including working with others outside of the operations department, to identify opportunities for improvement, problem-solve, action, and measure outcomes for improved performance.
- Lead or support projects related to care delivery, innovation, and organizational growth, as required
- Support and implement contingency planning for the branch, and where needed, provide coverage in absence of a Personal Support Manager or Nurse Manager.
- In collaboration with Facilities, ensure that the local physical branch is adherent to required safety standards and regulations; ensure clarity of scope of accountability for local issues versus corporate.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse program.
- Current College of Nurses Registered Nurse Certificate of Competence.
- Three to six (3-6) years direct nursing experience in the home health care system.
- Three to five (3–5+) years of operations management experience, ideally in home healthcare, community care, or a clinical service delivery environment.
- Experience supervising staff and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of provincial healthcare regulations, home care service models, and community-based care.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office software application is required.
- Experience in Human Resources Management and related legislation is an asset.
- Knowledge of Alayacare is an asset.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
