As a Marketing Specialist within the Integrated Marketing team, you will play an active role in helping to support the daily marketing activities and planning initiatives for the Recreational Vehicle (RVI) line of business.

How you will create impact:

  • Facilitate and project manage all aspects of marketing campaigns, including online (advertising and website), print (advertising and client collaterals), social media (organic and paid), email, radio and broadcast. This will include all or many of the following:

    • Development of creative briefs
    • Creating comprehensive workback schedules for all tactics,
    • Gathering feedback and integrating or adjusting accordingly
    • Submission of translation, content, creative and compliance requests
    • Managing final sign-off and approvals using departmental processes
    • Proofing and testing of all assets
    • Vendor and contract management
    • Other one-off or unique projects as required to support a broad base of marketing programs of business unit requests
  • Take the initiative to plan, execute and monitor the effectiveness of marketing programs. This includes making and applying recommendations based on research and client input to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Manage and monitor ongoing campaign performance and results, including accountability for ensuring distribution of standard reporting metrics with recommendations for review or improvement.

  • Close liaison with Senior Marketing Consultant, other Marketing Specialists, business stakeholders and other cross functional teams to ensure effective integration of new marketing initiatives into campaign scheduling, to achieve maximum awareness in the marketplace.

  • Organize and document processes and procedures across functional teams.

  • Responsible for the execution of programs within a set budget.

  • You have proven examples of taking the initiative – assuming ownership, independently researching and analysing opportunities, and compiling recommendations for solutions – for marketing programs, a process change and/or a different strategy approach.

  • You are well organized and detailed oriented and use a variety of tools and processes to track, manage and share information across stakeholders.

  • You are flexible, adaptable and able to pivot quickly and effectively as business priorities and needs change.

  • You use critical thinking and analytical skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions, and proactively propose solutions.

  • You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.

  • You build trusting relationships, collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.

  • You possess strong budget management and project management skills to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget.

  • You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on partner needs.

To join our team:

  • You have 5 years of related experience in a marketing/insurance environment to understand the intricacies of product marketing, content creation and marketing analytics.

  • You have experience working in consumer marketing and using marketing media analysis to measure and improve planning and execution.

  • You’re flexible and easily adapt to new tools, trends and business needs in a fast-paced environment.

  • You have some experience building marketing strategies to guide the yearly development of campaigns.

  • You’re a team player who knows your job isn’t done until the whole team succeeds.

  • Post Secondary education in Marketing or Communication or related discipline.
