About the role

The Product Manager, MoovAir and Elios will be the company's contact person for the MoovAir and Elios product lines for which they are responsible. This role will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies, managing product lifecycles, product road map etc.in Canada. This position requires a high level of market and ductless product knowledge and a deep understanding of the HVAC industry, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with vendors, customers, and Master Group internal team members including sales.

This role requires occasional travel to the Master Group's various places of business to support the sales teams and customers. The candidate hired for this role can be based in Burnaby, BC area, Calgary, AB are or near our central and eastern hubs in Vaughan, ON and Boucherville, QC.

What you will accomplish with us:

  • Development and execution of product strategies that align with company goals and market trends
  • Managing and establishing the Brand Experience in the marketplace.
  • Industry engagements and various participations and involvements in industry associations and functions.
  • Development of Brand Product Calendar working with vendor and sales – short term and long-term plan
  • Coordinating with sales and marketing for brand exposure including advertisements and participations in shows
  • Participation and helping creative and tag lines with Marketing department
  • Contribute to the creation of and administer Residential Sales Promotional Programs including financing etc.
  • Brand related programs and activities - e.g., Dealer Programs, Displays, branch days etc.
  • Competitive study including features, price points, advantages, improvements etc.
  • Get involved in the marketing of MoovAir and Elios products including preparation of marketing tools, catalogs, brochures, website, sales guides etc. with E-Commerce and Marketing department
  • Develop and deliver Product Presentations with PLC Manager and Sales regions
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry experts, to stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Work with Supply Chain teams to facilitate inventory pipeline and level.
  • In collaboration with the Regional Product Manager further develop Dealer sales personnel to be proficient in selling/offering products to the residential market in the region.
  • Support with creation and collection of market intelligence and marketing statistics.
  • Support sales team in the development of tactical sales strategies and programs for the dealer network.
  • Provide continuous feedback on market activity, customer needs and preferences, and use this information to manage future product development.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and vendor, to ensure successful product launches.
  • Involvement with suppliers to align strategic sales plans.
  • Work in close collaboration with regional Product Manager and Regional sales teams to support sustainable growth maintaining market leadership position in residential markets in the region.
  • Provide feedback and influence product pricing and profitability, ensuring that products are priced competitively and meet profit targets
  • Regular coordination with Product Life Cycle Manager and Sales regions
  • Travel within Canada as and when required etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to Our Team:

  • At least 10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Specialized studies in HVAC and Controls
  • Excellent technical skills for both products lines and their application
  • Good sales skills: Ability to convince, both with the sales team and external customers.
  • Good communicator and interpersonal relations capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with new product development processes, including product ideation, concept testing, and launch planning
  • Sense of urgency and sharp customer service
  • Autonomy in managing priorities and schedules
  • Demonstrated teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Diplomacy, courtesy, and political acumen
  • Knowledge of Eastern Canadian market trends and customer needs in the HVAC industry
