Position Overview
Reporting to the Sales Director – Quebec, the Inside Sales Representative plays a key role within the Quebec sales team, focusing on customer service and sales support.
Based at our Louiseville plant, this person will primarily be responsible for preparing quotations and processing orders for convenience products such as steel culverts, HDPE culverts, and window wells.
They will act as the main point of contact for customers and sales representatives, ensuring prompt, accurate, and professional service at every stage of the sales process.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotations for convenience products (steel culverts, HDPE culverts, and window wells).
- Respond to pricing and information requests from customers, distributors, and contractors.
- Provide outstanding customer service by phone and email.
- Enter and process customer orders in the ERP system.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support daily business activities.
- Track deliveries and keep customers informed of their order status.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records in company systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to customer service and sales administration processes.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- College diploma (DEC) in administration, office technology, sales, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service or sales administration, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Excellent command of French and English (bilingualism required, both spoken and written).
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with an ERP/CRM system (an asset).
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and professional with a strong customer focus.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a high-volume environment.
