About the role

The Co-op Ethanol Complex (CEC) is hiring a Terminal Loadout Coordinator on a permanent basis on our Manufacturing team.

This position requires on-site work and is based near Belle Plaine, SK.

Are you passionate about logistics, safety and operational efficiency? As a Terminal Loadout Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of Dried Distillers Grain (DDG) and Ethanol while upholding the highest safety standards.

What you’ll do:

You willsupport the loading of Dried Distiller’s Grain (DDG) and Ethanol to meet customer needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and reporting DDG and Ethanol inventory levels and ensure execution of truck and rail shipments align with product availability and sales. This involves coordinating with the Logistics Clerk to adjust scheduled trucks based on production, inventory, and sales contracts.
  • Assisting in the training of Material Handlers in the operation of terminal, mobile and stationary equipment.
  • Handling documentation for outbound loads, including carrier release numbers, work orders, and outbound product documentation.
  • Assisting with product receipts, ensuring ethanol rail cars are properly positioned, loaded and released in a timely manner.
  • Compiling daily inventory reports and balancing shipped and produced products. Investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory for upcoming shipments.
  • Ensuring truck drivers have completed site orientations and inspections as required.
  • Provide support to grain receiving and grain unloading.

The Team: You will work closely with Logistics Clerk, Material Handlers and other operations and maintenance staff and will report into the Manager, Sales and Logistics. This team strives to cultivate a culture of safety, collaboration and operational efficiency.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in grain handling and:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in material handling.
  • Have a 2-year diploma in Agriculture or equivalent experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Are familiar with operating payloaders, along with strong computer and customer service skills.
