Our client is seeking a CAD Designer to join their growing manufacturers team, supporting the design and documentation of HVAC products. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and is passionate about translating engineering concepts into manufacturable designs.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Collaborate with design engineers to produce accurate, detailed CAD drawings for custom manufacturing projects.
• Translate conceptual designs into submittal packages for customer approval, incorporating iterative feedback from both clients and production teams.
• Work across mechanical and electrical disciplines to support product development from prototype to production.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and clarity using platforms such as IRONCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Manage and organize design files using
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Design engineers, CI engineers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure design intent is preserved through execution.
• Operate independently, taking ownership of tasks without requiring daily direction, while contributing to a collaborative and accountable team culture.

Your strengths include:

• CAD Expertise: Proficient in mechanical and electrical drafting tools such as AutoCAD / Solidworks.
• Manufacturing Awareness: Understanding of sheet metal design, structural components, and mechanical integration (e.g., fan coils, dampers, piping).
• Electrical Drafting Knowledge: Familiarity with ladder diagrams, line numbering, and component-level documentation.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey design intent and collaborate across disciplines.
• Initiative & Accountability: Self-driven with a desire to succeed, able to manage tasks in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
