We’re looking for anIT Studentto join our head office located inVernon, British Columbiafor a4-month or 8-month work term. Our head office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement and Human Resources.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in apost-secondary Information Services/Information Technologyprogramor have graduated in the last 12 monthsin this field.
- Strong desire to expand their learning withinsoftware development.
- Ability tocommunicate effectivelyboth verbally and in writing.
- Strongorganizational and analytical skills.
- Ability towork independently.
-An introduction with at least oneof the following is required:
- SQL
- Object Oriented Programming
- Azure
- GIT
- Web applications
- Auth
- Rest API

In this role you will**:**

Work as a team member on the Development Team to support all facets of Tolko’s business. -Investigate and resolve issuessubmitted by the business.

Support themodification and build of new data pipelineson various platforms includingSQL Server, andAzure.

Support various internal teams including Woodlands, Manufacturing, Export, and Logistics, Sales and Finance users to deliverexcellent customer service. -Gain insighton multiple facets of Tolko’s business.
