Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and a background in marketing, including a track record of developing impactful marketing strategies and a proven ability to build key cross-functional relationships
- Experience in partnerships, the travel and hospitality space, autonomous vehicles, or with a marketplace business is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, or similar area
- Experience in applying consumer insights to inform and optimize product roadmaps and marketing efforts
- Experience developing strategies to solve ambiguous and complex problems
- Strong project management skills with experience coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder launches
- Very strong written communication skills; ability to effectively tailor communication to a variety of audiences
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Must have bias toward action and ability to identify and simplify problems
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, manage expectations and work cross-functionally with both analytical and creative teams
- Analytical thinker with experience in data-driven marketing; ability to independently drive experimentation focused on conversion and engagement
What the job involves
- Since 2012, we’ve transformed how people get around. Now, Lyft’s Global Growth team is creating the world’s leading hybrid rideshare network with autonomous vehicles (AVs). To help us achieve these goals, we are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to help shape the future of autonomous rides

- As the AV Marketing Manager, you’ll embed deeply with our product, business development, operations, and marketplace teams to understand our roadmap then coordinate cross-functionally to drive cohesive launches that both build trust with customers - and position Lyft to win the AV transformation
- Shape marketing strategy and high-impact go-to-market launches for AV partner launches
- Partner with regional marketing leads (North America/Europe) to execute in market
- Be the voice of the customer to influence cross-functional thinking; continually inform the product roadmap & marketing plans to meet customer needs
- Build a broad understanding of existing research and competitive landscape, identify gaps, and surface actionable insights that can inform product and marketing strategy
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as Product, User Research, Operations, Partnerships, to ensure our marketing approach delivers against business objectives
- Write inspiring creative briefs and shepherd the creative development process
- Partner across Comms, Social Media, and Marketing teams to advance our AV narrative across touchpoints
