Summary We are seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team at Plaza Auto Group. This role is essential in supporting our skilled technicians in providing high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services. Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency.
- Learn to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in automotive repair is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as required by the job.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in automotive work.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills under supervision.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
Compensation:
- This is a Straight Time pay range of $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience
