Dream is looking for an Intern, Development Finance (Western Canada, 8 month)! We are always looking for the best and brightest to join our thriving community. Dream’s Development Finance team is currently looking to hire an Intern, Development Finance to provide a strong supporting function to our finance team, starting in January 2026.
The application deadline is Sunday, October 19th. Selected candidates will be invited to attend a one-day assessment centre during the last two weeks of the month. Who am I? The successful candidate is not afraid to get out of their comfort zone, whether it is taking on new tasks or actively participating and collaborating in our meetings. They have been steadily deepening their knowledge in their field of study and wants to work with a company that has an environment where their knowledge and skills can be developed.

What experience will I gain? Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role:
- Maintain and assist in development of financial models
- Assist in consolidation and interpretation of financial results
- Prepare and analyze market data and assist in preparing presentations;
- Perform data analytics and ad-hoc analysis as required for senior management for insights and trends and,
- Assist in coordinating with various teams to compile the annual budget for senior management approval;
- Build and Sharpen your technical skills
What type of experience do I have? In addition to being able to showcase your collaborative mindset and positive attitude, you need to be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a focus on Finance, Accounting or Economics
The following are your keys to your success with us:
- University student pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or economics with exceptionally strong academic and extra-curricular track record;
- Intention to pursue CFA and/or CPA designation;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Prior relevant work or extra-curricular experience in finance, accounting or investments would be a plus;
- Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, high level of attention to detail and desire to consistently over-deliver;
- Ability to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines and willingness to work beyond normal hours;
- Work effectively in a team environment and independently as required;
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving and time management skills.
