Summary of Responsibilities:
The VP of FP&A will report directly to the CFO and hold a pivotal position in the organization, responsible for strategic involvement in forecasting, business planning, management reporting, and business analytics. We seek a proactive and hands-on leader who can both oversee the implementation of tools and processes to support future scalability and contribute strategically to the company's growth.
This individual must possess a strong analytical toolset and a track record of effectively managing planning activities within a large and complex company. Additionally, the VP will be instrumental in driving a culture of transparency and accountability to facilitate profitable growth, positioning the finance department as a value-added business partner.
Primary duties include:

Lead a team responsible for the annual and long term plan, forecast, and monthly reporting. In addition, you will be responsible for ad hoc analysis, executive level decks for C-level staff members, and Board of Directors reporting. In this capacity, you will lead and manage results for the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, and key performance indicators

Leverage a sophisticated FP&A infrastructure to translate company specific and external industry data into key strategic insights that drive forward-thinking business decisions.

Build and maintain financial models throughout the various departments of the organization (LTV, CAC, ROI, TCO)
-
Drive continuous improvement of a cohesive global finance function to produce innovation in reporting, planning and analysis

Manage and participate in the analysis and interpretation of operating results, preparation of executive reports, review of financing activities, and analysis of financial effects of various contemplated actions.

Work in conjunction with Strategy and investment teams on strategic corporate matters, business development initiatives and special projects

Build and manage a best-in-class FP&A team
What We're Looking For:
-
10+ years of progressive financial experience, preferably with Private Equity backed B2B SaaS/software or recurring revenue model
-
Experience with M&A integration, reporting and managing the process from a financial perspective
-
Financial management, analytical, reporting, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills
-
Strong business acumen - working knowledge of sales strategy and sales operations
-
Interpersonal skills to effectively share and engage with cross-functional peers
-
Ability to develop and implement business and process improvements within finance and the broader organization as appropriate to scale the business
-
Oversight of the implementation and development of integrated and scalable financial systems that provide highly predictable and understandable financial results to the business

Ability to represent the company with credibility and build strong relationships both internally and externally
Additional Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration with a CA/CPA designation
-
Experience in US GAAP/ASC606 revenue accounting is an asset
-
Proven ability to develop highly engaged and high-performance teams
-
Exceptional technical abilities and comfort and strong familiarity with finance and accounting systems
-
Experience with Vena Solutions, Adaptive Insights or similar financial planning software, as well as Salesforce and NetSuite (preferred but not required), along with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
