What You’ll Do; As an E-Commerce Site Merchandiser at Sporting Life, you will play a critical role in optimizing our online store's product presentation and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Leveraging your merchandising experience, you will enhance our e-commerce operations, making a significant impact on our digital retail success. Manage day-to-day site merchandising activities within Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), including product placement, category management, search optimization, and promotional setup. Create and maintain product assortments, category hierarchies, product attributes, and content assets within SFCC. Execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional events, ensuring accurate implementation and timely delivery. Optimize product discovery through search, sorting, filtering, cross-sells, upsells, and recommendation strategies. Analyze website performance, sales trends, conversion rates, and customer behavior using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce reports, and business intelligence platforms. Partner with marketing teams to support email campaigns, paid media initiatives, landing pages, and promotional content. Conduct A/B testing and provide recommendations to improve user experience, conversion rates, and revenue performance. Ensure product content, pricing, imagery, and promotional messaging are accurate and aligned with brand standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Merchandising, Data, IT and the Digital COE to support business objectives. Identify opportunities for site enhancements, personalization, and automation within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem. Stay current on e-commerce trends, competitive activity, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud best practices Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities and emerging trends. Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and optimal user experience. Promote the Sporting Life Philosophy in all aspects of the business. Performs other related tasks, duties or assignments as required.

What You’ll Bring; Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in business or marketing. Proven experience in e-commerce site merchandising, 1 year minimum. Expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud is an asset. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Comfortable with HTML and Photoshop. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making. Attention to detail and a creative mindset. Passionate about sports & style, lives the sporting life. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. High energy level with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency. Must be able to handle repetitive tasks (i.e. typing, prolonged computer use, prolonged sitting). Must be able to lift 5 – 10 lbs.
