About the role
Our client, a well-established company in the Audio-Visual (AV) industry, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage the company's full-cycle bookkeeping function. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and self-motivated accounting professional who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of all day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities Manage the company's full-cycle bookkeeping activities Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Prepare and process payroll accurately and on schedule Generate customer invoices and monitor outstanding accounts Prepare and file HST returns Reconcile corporate credit card statements and bank accounts Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports and other financial summaries Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes Communicate professionally with clients regarding invoicing and account-related inquiries Ensure financial records are accurate, organized, and compliant with company policies
Qualifications Minimum 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience Proficiency with QuickBooks Online Strong experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, HST filings, reconciliations, and month-end reporting Ability to work independently and manage all bookkeeping responsibilities with minimal supervision Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional client-facing approach Dependable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
