Posting Period: August 26, 2025 - September 1, 2025 Reporting to the Manager, Staff Scheduling, the Staff Scheduling Lead will be responsible for supporting daily operations of the Staff Scheduling Department, including but not limited to: schedule development and review, training, reporting, auditing, system support, and process development in consultation with Manager, Staff Scheduling. In addition, this role will have a working knowledge of recruitment, compensation and benefits leave administration and labour relations.
Education & Experience
- College Diploma in business or Office Administration or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience Scheduling in a Unionized Healthcare Environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience Staffing in a Unionized Healthcare Environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience in leadership roles
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with scheduling software
Position Duties And Responsibilities
- Support day to day activities and workflow related to staffing
- Be the first point of contact for staffing queries
- Escalate staffing concerns, trends, and queries to the Manager, Staff Scheduling, as needed
- Support day to day activities and workflow related to scheduling
- Be the first point of contact for scheduling queries
- Provide regular and clear communication to stakeholders regarding the status of staffing/scheduling activities
- Be the first point of escalation for concerns with matters related to staffing/scheduling
