How You Contribute To Our World
Reporting to the General Foreman - Energy Production, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment that stands out for its health and safety results. Your primary duties will be:
Help oversee the strategic management of surface electrical facilities across the entire mining site. Conduct audits to validate critical controls and health and safety practices in order to promote and improve them. Serve as a liaison between the surface electrical and power plant departments and the project, prevention, environmental, and other teams. Identify, propose, and organize relevant technical training and ensure team members’ compliance. Plan and oversee the involvement of external experts. Participate in the development of budgets for surface electrical systems and the power plant.
Profile Required
College diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology – Automation and Control, Industrial Electronics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or any other field deemed equivalent Have relevant experience supervising electrical or mechanical maintenance teams, or in industrial maintenance management, or any other combination of experience related to the position. Possess a valid driver’s license. Bilingualism is required.
