About the role
Job Description:
The Technical Operations Intern will work closely with CAST’s QA, Operations, and Professional Services teams to provide hands-on technical and operational support throughout the summer term. This role is designed as a cross-functional internship, offering exposure to CAST’s core products, BlackTrax and WYSIWYG, while contributing meaningfully to daily workflows and project execution.
The intern will assist the QA team with software and hardware testing, validation, and test environment setup, helping increase testing throughput and maintain product quality. In support of Operations, the intern will participate in hardware builds, quality control checks, inventory preparation, shipping coordination, and internal workflow support. The role will also provide opportunities to assist Professional Services with studio work, training preparation, and local system setups.
Throughout the internship, the intern will be encouraged to document processes, test procedures, and setup workflows encountered across teams, contributing to improved internal knowledge sharing and continuity. Under the guidance of experienced staff, the intern will gain a practical understanding of how CAST’s technical solutions are built, delivered, and supported globally, while providing flexible support during a peak operational period.
This position is intended to be hands-on and adaptive, with specific responsibilities and rotations evolving based on team needs, project priorities, and the intern’s demonstrated strengths and interests.
