Family School Liaison Worker - Full-Time
About the role
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a full-time probationary Family School Liaison Worker position at St.Anthony School in Drayton Valley, Alberta. This position will begin near November 4, 2025.
The successful candidate should possess a social work degree or education experience in a similar field. Skills and qualities of a strong candidate will also include: The ability to provide consultation and collaboration as a member of the school intervention team; consultation on such issues as attendance, confidentiality, mental health, behavior management and crisis intervention; the ability to provide support in order to ensure school staff are knowledgeable on a variety of topics (e.g. mental health, taruma, grief and loss, self-regulation, etc.); assist the school through program planning and implementation of various programs; a working knowledge of the Catholic faith or openness to work in a Catholic environment.
The Successful candidate’s offer of employment will be conditional upon receipt of a recent (within 6 months) Criminal Record check inclusive of vulnerable sector and a recent (within 6 months) Alberta Children's Intervention Record Check.
