Job Summary
The Senior Director, Strategy and Execution plays a critical role in supporting and advancing enterprise level initiatives, uncovering new growth opportunities and driving the successful implementation of strategic priorities.
Now, if you were to come on board as the Senior Director, Strategy and Execution, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Identify and evaluate new business models, revenue streams and market expansion opportunities aligned with organizational strategy and in support of the CSO.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing sectors and in new markets to expand reach and increase market share
- Lead market assessments and feasibility studies to validate opportunities in adjacent sectors or untapped customer segments
- Lead pre identification due diligence assessments including commercial, operational and cultural fit assessments
- Manage a dynamic pipeline of growth initiatives, acquisitions and strategic investments, including the development of execution roadmaps
- Scan external environments and emerging trends for disruptive business opportunities
- Develop and support integration strategies that maximize synergies and support post acquisition value realization prior to operational hand over
- Build strategic partnerships to accelerate investments
- Lead the development of business cases for subsectors, strategic partnerships, or innovation led ventures to support growth acceleration
- Facilitate seamless alignment between strategic planning and operational execution to ensure strategies are actionable and results driven.
- Develop strategic business plans, robust financial models and scenario analyses to assess new business opportunities and inform investment decisions
- Build proformas, valuation models and all supporting financial documentation required to evaluate potential opportunities
- Implement governance and processes for new business and retention opportunities
- Taking a leadership role with existing and new clients as needed

- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 6+ years in a Finance or Strategic leadership role
- Professional Designation an asset – CPA
- Market and competitive analysis experience
- Previous client/ partner/ external stakeholder relationships is an asset
- Ability and agility to pivot and take on increased / various new responsibilities as they arise
- A results driven innovator and a proactive and results oriented thinker
- Business case development
- M&A Lifecycle Management
