We’re currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Services Coordinator to join our team at Evergreen Manor, White Rock. This temporary 12-month role (maternity leave coverage) provides essential administrative and resident services support, ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient experience for our residents and guests. The role is structured as 4 days of administrative support and 1 day dedicated to recreation activities.

About the Role

As the Resident Services Coordinator, you will act as an ambassador of Baptist Housing, providing administrative support to the business office while fostering a welcoming and supportive community environment. Reporting to the Administrator, you will handle general office tasks, respond to resident inquiries, manage resident onboarding and files, assist with annual rent reviews, and contribute to recreation program planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model Baptist Housing values and demonstrate servant leadership in all interactions
  • Provide professional reception services, answering inquiries from residents, families, and visitors by phone or in person
  • Screen potential residents, manage the waitlist, and facilitate tours and pre-screening interviews
  • Perform annual rent reviews, including BC Housing subsidy applications
  • Maintain a confidential resident database and accurate tenancy files
  • Develop and manage resident communications, including letters, notices, posters, and menus
  • Receive and communicate maintenance requests via the Maintenance Care system
  • Assist in planning and implementing recreation programs, including setup of furnishings and equipment
  • Respond to resident issues in the Administrator’s absence, escalating major concerns as needed
  • Support other departments and participate in team meetings, committees, and resident events
  • Attend work-related conferences and seminars to maintain professional development
  • Promote health and safety, demonstrating safe work practices and assisting residents as needed

Requirements

  • High School graduation
  • Formal training in basic accounting and Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Completion of Emergency First Aid – Community Care training (St. John Ambulance or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Resident Services Coordinator or equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment

Compensation & Benefits
