What You Will Do The Operations Manager ensures the service environment is safe and the day-to-day requirements of operating the home(s) and/or community-based services are met. The Operations Manager is responsible for staff management, coaching and scheduling and for creating a safe and secure home-like or inclusive environment for individuals in service, families, and staff. The role contributes directly to the experience of the individuals supported by CBI Home Health in our Specialized Community Services, in all settings.

Your Role

  • Daily operation of assigned homes and direction to staff
  • Hire Team Lead and Direct Support Staff and assist with recruitment needs and onboarding of new staff
  • Health and safety compliance for all homes
  • Maintenance of master scheduling guide for each individual or home, including monitoring of overtime
  • Conduct monthly and annual inspections in each home
  • Ensure the environment of potential homes meets specific operational criteria
  • Assist with planning and implementation of move-in/move-out procedures
  • Ensure follow through on the Individual Support Plan (ISP)/ Plan of Care (POC), Behavioural Support Plan (BSP) protocols
  • Monitor safety plans for all clients.
  • Ensure timely and comprehensive response to Incident Reporting
  • Ensure accurate records of house petty cash and client's personal cash
  • Monitoring client’s finances
  • Review incident reports

Required Qualifications What you will need to be successful:

  • Post-secondary education in health/social services field or 5 years’ experience in supporting individuals and supervisory experience/ Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisor or leadership role in a service-focused organization
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working directly with clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnosis
  • Track record of successful health care operations management and/or residential home management
  • Be experienced in clinical program and financial management
  • Demonstrated person-centered focus with a commitment to providing quality care.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the health care system, and experience in home and community care
  • French Bilingual
