About the role
Main Job Duties
- Supervise assembly and fabrication activities for commercial cooking equipment, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Coordinate and train a team of production employees, including welders, electrical and mechanical assemblers, packers, QA inspectors, and material handlers.
- Make sure the safety protocols and standard operating procedures are respected to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Provide on-the-floor leadership to improve productivity and quality, offering recommendations and resolving work problems.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to requisition materials and supplies, recommend personnel and address operational challenges.
- Inspect completed work and coordinate quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary school degree
- At least 1 year of experience in assembling, mechanical production or any related field
**Job Conditions **
- 37.5 hours / week, Monday to Friday. Includes participation in a rotating Saturday shift approximately every three weeks, compensated as an additional paid day.
