Role: Payroll Director
Location: Calgary/Toronto- Canada
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with Payroll/ Helpdesk expertise to perform due diligence activities & manage new transition effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.

5+ years’ experience in payroll processing and administration.
-
Expertise in federal and state payroll tax laws and regulations.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
-
Solid understanding of consulting principles/ duties.
-
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Review Current payroll process and complete due diligence of the payroll process.
-
Due Diligence
-
Map the current processes, volumes, staffing, and validate estimates of staffing requirements.
-
Identify improvement opportunities.
-
Recommend improvements to streamline processes.
-
Evaluate current SLA performance and map the current performance standards.
-
Recommend improvements to meet the client service levels.
-

Evaluate current health of the process and identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
-
Analyze and identify risks for delivery, revenue, SLA and recommend fixes.
-
Work with the customer to evaluate current SOP adequacy and either create/update SOP’s and procure customer sign offs.
-
Help in evaluating current baselines for expected SLA and work with Mphasis to measure and track current SLA’s/performance standards.
