About the role

We are partnered with a staffing and recruitment firm that specializes exclusively in cybersecurity, data, and AI roles. Their clients are enterprise organizations generating $1B or more in annual revenue, with a roster of well-recognized names across financial services, retail, and automotive. Long-standing client relationships and focus on their areas of expertise drive success and has led to significant demand growth in the past six months. A lean and tenured team of 15, their revenues are predicted t. After a slower period, the business has accelerated significantly over the past six months and is hiring to keep pace.

The Role

Junior Recruiters are being added to this tight-knit team to support demand that has outgrown their current capacity. This role is the starting place for a well-defined promotion path that leads to higher earnings and more complex recruitment, business development, or leadership responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

Source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, focused on cybersecurity, data, and AI professionals Conduct intake calls with hiring managers to understand requirements before beginning a search Qualify candidates through structured 30-minute conversations prior to client submission Manage 2-4 active requisitions at a time, primarily contract placements Coordinate interviews and support offer and negotiation processes Build foundational knowledge of the contract staffing market and client base

What You Bring To The Table

Tenure in roles held through high school and/or university Self-motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial Proactive communicator who follows up without being nudged High emotional intelligence; relationship-driven approach to work Based in Toronto or willing to relocate; in-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at Bay and Richmond (two days every other week during the summer) No prior recruiting or tech industry experience required - just strong work ethic and grit!

Compensation And Benefits

Base salary: $40,000 Year 1 total earnings: $50,000 - $55,000 Year 2 total earnings: $70,000 - $100,000 100% employer-paid health and dental Unlimited vacation Hybrid schedule with downtown Toronto office at Bay and Richmond
