The Partner Business Manager – HP Inc. is the central liaison for HP Inc. working with CDW stakeholders across the organization, including sales, finance, and marketing. This position is responsible for driving revenue, profitability and awareness for their respective partner while creating meaningful relationships across Partner and Product Management, Sales and Marketing. The Partner Business Manager interacts with senior level leadership regarding program management, solutions development, and sales performance.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Be the subject matter expert in HP Inc.’s product lines and associated programs such as Bid Desk programs and Category Penetration.
  • Analyze industry information to identify opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies that outline target customer segments, products, promotions, pricing, positioning, and complete launch plans.
  • Educate pre-sales and Partner Business Coordinator on new product introductions, transitions, competitive advantages, and opportunities to identify sales within their customer base.
  • Understand and communicate HP Inc.’s organizational structure with key decision makers and foster relationships with senior management.
  • Communicate HP Inc.’s financial conditions and market new products related to the assigned partner.
  • Engage daily with HP Inc. to always maintain an open channel of communication to ensure that all CDW and HP Inc. stakeholders are kept up to date on all issues, initiatives, projects, meetings, or conferences.
  • Manage and maximize overall profitability; managing financial benefits and develop a strategy around reinvesting funding.
  • Engage with CDW Procurement to help forecast sales volumes.
  • Represent the HP Inc. brand in meetings and speak to brand performance, category performance, program/promotion results, and current initiatives.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting both internally and externally on brand performance, category performance, industry trends, and market share.
  • Host Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to review HP Inc. performance and discuss joint initiatives.
  • Assist the Partner Business Coordinator in creation and review of content for respective HP Inc. ads and campaigns.
  • Obtain and facilitate necessary HP Inc. and industry certifications.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree + 2 years sales/marketing experience, OR
  • 4 years’ experience in CDW sales/marketing, OR
  • 2 years CDW PPM experience + 2 years’ relevant experience in sales/marketing

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated financial and business acumen.

We determine individual pay within a given range based on a candidate's prior experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. This approach allows us to offer competitive and equitable salaries that reflect the value and responsibilities of each role at CDW. Salaries are based on a 40-hour workweek, and paid on a bi-weekly payroll schedule.

Pay range: $66,00 - $91,600 depending on experience and skill set
