The role involves validating professional qualifications against regulatory databases. This part-time position requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify credentials of health care professionals against official licensing databases.
- Confirm compliance with state and federal regulations for health care providers.
- Document verification results in internal tracking systems with accuracy.
- Identify discrepancies or gaps in licensing and report findings for resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive provider information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in health care credentialing or compliance verification is required.
- Knowledge of state and federal health care licensing regulations is necessary.
- Proficiency in using credentialing databases and compliance tracking tools is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in documentation is required.
- Familiarity with HIPAA privacy rules and data confidentiality protocols is preferred.
