TEMPORARY ONGOING ASSIGNMENT Job Title: Senior Accountant Industry Sector: Not for Profit Salary: $30/hr. + Location: Scarborough in office Job #: 16816022 About Our Client Our client is a local charitable Not for Profit charitable organization, in the senior living space that provides a number of services throughout the GTA.
About The Role This role will be supporting the Director of Finance with the following, but not limited to:
- Support annual audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, government reports, and close entries
- Perform account reconciliations, financial analysis, and ad hoc reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable, resolving issues cross-functionally
- Maintain confidential records and provide backup support as needed
About You
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Completion of Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Must be proficient with MS Excel
