The role of Logistics coordinator carries out scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating activities of independent delivery teams, ensuring the day is set up for success. Other responsibilities include promoting exceptional customer service experience while achieving on-time delivery performance as well as Data recording and analysis.

SHIFT: Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring the timely and efficient movement of units, coordinating shipments, and tracking deliveries.
  • Addressing and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the logistics process, including delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and partners.
  • Coordinating and dispatching freight at pre-determined distribution centers.
  • Assisting carriers with delivery challenges and communicating changes to service requirements
  • Trace orders as required and notify appropriate stakeholders.
  • Sorting and filing paperwork for the clients.
  • Receiving and sending daily correspondence to enhance seamless delivery operations ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities.
  • Track and update delivery teams of on the road changes in the routes to ensure last mile delivery.
  • Providing PODs and Acceptance Forms to our Claims Resolution Department to avoid potential claims from the clients.
  • Monitoring the daily deliveries and preparing reports presenting the KPI requirements and comparing them to the team’s performance.
  • Preparing and sending the work schedule to the delivery teams and to the departments concerned.
  • Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages

EDUCATION

  • Completion of secondary school or college or equivalent business administration experience is preferred.
