About the Role
The HR Advisor provides day-to-day HR support to leaders and employees across the resort and casino. You are a key resource for employee relations, performance management, policy guidance, and recruitment for hourly roles. This role ensures consistent, professional HR service and plays an important part in fostering a fair and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line support to leaders on performance, conduct, attendance, and policy interpretation.

Support employee relations matters, including documentation, coaching, corrective action, and conflict resolution.

Lead recruitment for hourly and non-leadership roles, including screening, interviews, and onboarding.

Assist in workplace investigations and maintain accurate, confidential records.
-
Coordinate onboarding and ensure strong first-day and first-week experiences.
-
Maintain HR documentation, HRIS accuracy, and reporting requirements.
-
Support training coordination, communication, and general HR operations.
-
Ensure compliance with internal policies, legislation, and safety standards.
What Success Looks Like

Employees and leaders receive timely, professional HR support.

Issues are resolved early, fairly, and with strong documentation.

Recruitment and onboarding are well-organized and reflect a positive employee experience.

HR processes are followed consistently and accurately.

The Senior HRBP can rely on strong, proactive partnership from the Advisor.
Q****ualifications & Experience
-
Diploma or degree in HR or related field.
-
3–5 years of experience in an HR generalist or advisory role.
-
Strong working knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards.
-
Experience supporting employee relations and performance conversations.
-
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
-
CPHR is an asset.
