What you can expect when joining the team
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging financial reporting, data analytics, and operational integration. This position combines technical acumen (data cleaning, automation, analysis) with operational insight (month-end, invoicing, and reporting) to enhance scalability and decision-making.
As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity, support integration projects, and provide actionable insights that drive business performance. Your daily life
In your day to day, you will be led to:
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Compile, analyze, and validate financial data across multiple entities.
- Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for leadership.
- Support month-end reporting activities, ensuring reconciliations and data integrity.
- Build and maintain models using Power Query, Excel, and Power BI to automate and enhance reporting.
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying trends or anomalies.
Integration & Process Improvement
- Support the financial integration of newly acquired entities, including data migration, mapping, and reporting standardization.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve and automate financial data flows.
- Document, refine, and streamline financial processes to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy across systems and workflows.
Business Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional collaborators to support ongoing pricing, billing, and financial data inquiries.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes by consolidating data and preparing analyses.
- Participate in business case development and ad hoc financial projects under the guidance of the Finance Manager.
- Promote alignment between Finance and Operations through consistent data sharing and financial insight.
Your profile
Are you an analytically minded finance professional who thrives at the intersection of data, operations, and business strategy? Do you enjoy connecting numbers to business realities and driving better decisions through clarity and insight? If so, the sky is the limit! If you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and a recognized professional designation (CPA required).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or finance business partnering (ideally within SaaS or healthcare environments).
- Advanced technical skills in Excel and Power Query; Power BI or other data visualization tools are a strong asset.
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis cycles.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset.
- The ability to work from our North Vancouver office 1–3 times per week.
- A proactive attitude and high adaptability in a constantly evolving environment.
