About the role
Are you a skilled leader ready to take charge? We’re looking for a dynamic Service Manager to lead our team of Service Technicians and deliver exceptional results for our homeowners.
In this role, you’ll oversee and coordinate service repairs for closed homes, managing homeowner repair lists and ensuring all work is completed within a 40-day timeline from receipt of the service form. Takes pride in the ability to work efficiently, uphold high standards, and consistently exceed homeowner expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations, addressing concerns and work orders with staff
- Manage water leaks, structural defects, and homeowner claims
- Drive Homeowner Survey initiative and maintain infrastructure readiness
- Attend and address escalated homeowner concerns on-site
- Supervise exterior repairs and seasonal tasks to completion
- Attend warranty meetings, reporting site updates regularly
- Coordinate with Service team to review events and plan ahead
- Support Service Technicians as needed
- Monitor model home maintenance program and repair costs
- Respond to emergency repairs across multiple sites
- Manage scheduled appointments and deficiencies to completion
- Conduct necessary MIR/PDI walkthroughs and execute Exterior Program
- Perform additional duties as required
You will bring:
- Completion of High school education level or higher preferred
- 5-7 years’ experience in residential construction industry in Canada
- Strong working knowledge of Tarion Warranty Guidelines and the Ontario Building Code (OBC).
- Ability to lead a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of multiple trades functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting.
- Comfortable in the use of technology – smartphones, tablets or computers to record, review and communicate information related to deficiency lists.
- Flexible, with the willingness and ability to travel daily to assigned sites and to work at locations across the division.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, regular access to a vehicle and provide own
