We're recruiting a Bookkeeper for a part-time, three-day-per-week contract opportunity with an established organization. This role is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional who enjoys managing the full bookkeeping cycle, working independently, and maintaining accurate financial records in a collaborative office environment. Working onsite three days per week with a consistent schedule, you'll oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities, support payroll processing, and ensure financial information is accurate and up to date.

What You'll Do

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.

Complete bank and account reconciliations.

Maintain the general ledger and trial balance.

Process payroll for a small employee group using QuickBooks.

Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation.

Assist with cheque processing and payment administration.

Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.

Support month-end bookkeeping activities and other accounting tasks as required.

Assist with general administrative and finance-related responsibilities.

What You'll Bring

Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.

Hands-on experience using QuickBooks, including payroll processing.

Strong understanding of reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and trial balance preparation.

Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
