Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Payments operations Analyst. This position offers a chance to engage in essential back-office functions within a fast-paced financial environment, with potential for long-term contract extension and career growth.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $27.70/hr Responsibilities
- Monitor upcoming corporate action events and prepare summaries in a client-friendly format
- Coordinate payment processes and collaborate with internal teams to reconcile and pay client accounts
- Ensure transaction accuracy and maintain high attention to detail in daily operations
- Support processing activities related to payments, securities, and equity transactions
- Contribute to analysis and reporting on operational metrics and process improvements
- Work independently after initial training period to manage back-office functions efficiently
Desired Skill-Set
- Strong knowledge of payments and equity operations
- Experience in financial operations and transaction processing
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
- Solid understanding of financial markets
- Customer service skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Accurate data entry and administrative skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Certified Securities Course or equivalent financial training (asset)
- Minor accounting experience (asset)
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- CSC certification (required)
Nice to Have
- Canadian Securities Course completion
- Additional accounting experience
- College or University Degree
